Open wide! Another use for the pacifier
Advertisement
When you are trying to examine the mouth of an infant, the pacifier can be your best friend. Have your light ready in one hand and the pacifier in the other. Rub the pacifier on the infant's lips, and instantly you have a wide-open mouth to examine. The pacifier can also serve as a tongue blade.
