Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago to keep pediatric patients feeling as relaxed and safe as possible.
Some of the examples Tan discussed included an onsite playroom, volunteers that play with the children, provided toys, and interaction with hospital staff in fun activities, like kids riding scooters down the hallways or children visiting each other in their rooms.
